      The inspection rewinder combines automatic web guiding and rewinding with an inspection table for checking printed flexible materials while they are running. The table has a glass surface with white backlighting underneath, which makes the printed area easier to examine, while a hold-down device (a bar that keeps the web flat against the inspection table) keeps the web in position during inspection.

      Doctoring rewinding machines are used to inspect flexible web materials and sheets before it moves on to the next production stage. While the roll is being rewound, the operator can examine the printed surface and pause the web if something needs to be checked or corrected.
